"Retro classic flashlight is not what I expected"

On the product description it says that this flashlight is made in USA. On the flashlight it says it was made in China. My husband will not allow me to give him Christmas presents made in China, and it is so cheap looking that I have to return it.

"Junk"

I do not ever use it. Quality poor I wish that I had not bought it and returned it. I would be a lot richer and have something to show for it.

"Piece of Junk!"

This light has such a poor quality bulb that you almost have to light a match to see if it is on. Dim, yellow light. The flashlight feels cheap, pooly made and not worth a two dollar bill. The batteries you put init will increase its value ten fold. My cost of shipping it back cost me much more than the value of this light. This is the first time i ever bought from National Geographic and the last.,

"Not worthy of National Geographic "endorsement""

-When the box arrived I thought that someone must have forgotten to include the flashlight. it's featherweight did not bode well for the sturdy fllashlight suggested by its catalogue picture. But, thinking that the batteries would provide the necessary heft, I soldiered on..........the flashlight would not work. -I zipped up to the local store for fresh batteries. Still it did not light. It didn't weigh enough to use as a paperweight! What to do? ..... What to do? So....I packed it up and shipped it back. I'm awaiting the promised refund. -Having purchased quality products from Nat Geo in the past, I'm dumbfounded that this product slipped in to the catalogue. Buyer beware!!

"Cheap piece of junk"

I couldn't have been more disappointed, it was like a poorly made toy you'd expect to find in a dollar store. I highly doubt the handle was even wrapped in genuine leather as it claimed. It had one, tiny LED bulb and the switch didn't work properly. I could hardly believe National Geographic would offer such a poor quality item

"Truly unexceptional"

Didn't perform as expected. Nothing to differentiate it from any garden variety flashlight
